Sanjel Energy Unites is our company-sponsored cancer fundraising program.
Sanjel Energy Unites 2020
Given the Covid-19 Pandemic, we had to alter our Sanjel Energy Unites fundraising plans for 2020. We continued to support the same organizations and made direct corporate donations to Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, and BC Cancer Foundation. We're looking forward to hopefully having a full fundraising event again in 2021.
Sanjel Energy Unites 2019
Sanjel Energy Unites 2019 ran from April – July 2019. This year’s campaign focused on raising funds for three organizations throughout Western Canada who provide the necessary support throughout individuals’ cancer journey: Alberta Cancer Foundation, Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, and BC Cancer Foundation.
Thanks to the generosity of our employees, suppliers and clients, Sanjel Energy Unites 2019 raised over $17,000 for these three organizations!

In 2018, over $40,000 was raised in donation for Canadian Cancer Society and Kids Cancer Care.

PSAC STARS and SPURS
Sanjel Energy Services is a proud supporter of the STARS and SPURS Gala in support of Stars Air Ambulance. For the past 25 years, The Petroleum Services Association of Canada (PSAC) has hosted this signature fundraising which is highly recognized and supported by the Alberta energy industry. This is STARS’ largest fundraising event. It has raised over $16 million in support of STARS air ambulance over 24 years.
KIDSPORT
Sanjel Energy Services is proud to provide a yearly sponsorship to KidSport Canada. KidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under, allowing them to play a season of sport. Since its creation in 1993, over 825,000 kids across the country have been given the chance to play sport through KidSport grants and sport introduction programming.
